The view of the vermilion Futami Suspension Bridge from below as you descend into the valley is also spectacular.

The Summer Lantern Festival is a fantastical event where the "Japanese lights" of lanterns and paper lamps come alive, along with the spirit of the land's pioneers. Enjoy the unique world of Jozankei along with the gentle light.

Starting from the Jozankei Tourist Information Center, head to five autumn foliage viewing spots, including Tsukimi Bridge and Nishiki Bridge. Along the way, stop by the Ainu culture museum and a farm shop where you can purchase seasonal fruits.
